Excuse me for asking the obvious question here, but why would you become an outspoken opponent of gay rights if you are, yourself, fond of men (even occassionally)? That just doesn't make sense on a variety of levels.
I don't personally care if you want to suck dick or eat pussy; nothing could matter less to me when I'm standing in line at the bank. But advocating a hypocritical and self-defeating cause is personal and political suicide. And for crying out loud, why would you fight for the diminution of your own rights?

In response to St. Fuck's comment, I think the sheep are largely sincere (albeit demented), it's the leadership that behaves like this. What a fucking mess, eh? And these people make up half the voting population of the country.

I am absolutely revelling in this fucker's fall from grace. As to what leads to it? A deep-seated sense of self-loathing mixed with a colossal ego that thinks they can get away with it.
Evidently, his idea of romance involves a couple of C-notes a month, every month, along with a dime-bag of meth. =)
And Logan--I think you're dead-on on both points. Xtianity is, by its nature, a self-loathing cult; and the underlying idea has to be, "they'll never catch me, because I'm me! I'm untouchable!" Absolutely true.
